Album : Pictures in the WallPlayStop

I am you;
These hard bare feet walk a scorched and barren desert of souls;
Each gasping for air and grasping below,

Where they may root, and transform.
It is their will; the shadows abound in a myriad of forms.
And in each of the four corners of this earth is a spirit
that will teach and protect they who acknowledge their knowledge.
May the pale ghost never grow to full height,
And the giant rise to bask in the sunlight;
So walking and living hallow.
I heard the chant in the air was so deep.
Everywhere came around me;
Embraced the surround discreet.
Wisdom a whisper that silence only heeds,
And rides the invisible ties;

Embraced the surround discreet.
Wisdom a whisper that silence only heeds,
And rides the invisible ties;
Speaking of incredible highs and falls so deep,
That those on the crooked road will not see the horizon indeed.
Dirty eyes the shine won’t see; the divine.
To the East: my red birth holding seeds of fire and sunrise.
To the South: I bathed in the waters that grow, the middle day and the high yellow gold.
To the West: my feet grew into the earth, my face black in the sunset.
To the North: the white night and the close of this wise circle road of yours.
If it wasn’t for them the world would simply not know the order it knows.
All the elements would roam astray, and none of this would be what it is now.
I stood to rise to the occasion, and noticed they looked at me, I stared right back.
They called in chants that echoed in every sound I heard within the temple,
Until I called back with the verb, the million year old key I hold that’s the words;
I am now the long road within your four directions,
And sway with the wind of this life’s inflection,
So bury me now with what I chose to believe.
May I become a small part of this mighty tree.
And the four brothers appeared, one from each direction.
To welcome me home, and back to the order
The covenant of those who embrace the old ways.
I looked back saw all the ghosts had passed.
The Four Brothers turned the road.
Beneath my feet they rose to claim my body,
Send my soul back to the one Whole.
From up I looked down the road now sand before the Great River;
Waiting for the next rise;
Waiting for the next chance to deliver.
