Public Enemy of Rap, welcome to the terror dome
Running from police I keep a couple different telephones
Plotted to be popping, the apostles was a stepping stone

Now I make the laws and have that muddafucka set in stone
Maybe, its different lately
I'm shaking hands and kissing babies, this shit is crazy
Im laying hands on leading ladies, tibetan reiki
I lent a hand rebuilding haiti, you building hades
My flying pegasus awaits me. Them peasants going nowhere fast
Sinners try to throw a stone, worshipping a golden calf
3 wise men bestowing gold, Egypt built the coldest cat
These rappers be going gold, im wrapped in a golden cast
Spirits in a golden flask
Prelacy opposed to drinking the potion
Pouring more than Edgar Allan Poe, it's poetry in motion

Spirits in a golden flask
Prelacy opposed to drinking the potion
Pouring more than Edgar Allan Poe, it's poetry in motion
It isn't easy being the chosen
You can ask the sphinx what happens to a motherfucking cat that pokes his nose in
For my negus
My negus negus, my negus negus
For my negus
My negus negus, my negus negus
For my negus
My negus negus, my negus negus
For my negus
My negus negus, my negus negus
I'll ride for my Negus, die for my Negus
I'll ride for my Negus, die for my Negus
I'll ride for my Negus, die for my Negus
I'll ride for my Negus, die for my Negus
Picture langston flipping language dipped in Royal garbs
Marcus Garvey did The Garden in embroidered scarves
Politicians tried to hop the fence and fought the gods
Tossed from Zion all we sighted was a fallen star
Listen, Ive made my wishes
But stolen gold and scolded women, my shits afflicted
I'm going cold and growing distant, I've gone the distance
Saw the unknown and wasn't flinching, ive grown indifferent
I'm on a mission
I'mma beat this beat til it caves in
Make my team full of made men
You tryna look up for a spaceship, we tryna catch up to the cavemen
Still got 2 hands on the slaveships
We modern day slaves I'm not a free man but I'm a Freemason
As if that made sense
Got a mob that's underrated
Got a job that's understated
Bout to rob the over paid I tookem hostage over wages
Had a plan to crash the database and hack the national bank
I'll give it back to black owned businesses support our own creations
Genius Annotation 1 Contributor?
He depicts a vigilante scene for his black culture in an oppressive society where he violently advocates his will by using the lives of the wealthy as leverage in order to attain greater equality. This would all seem far too radical had he not clarified who specifically he was targeting, which appears to be the crooked bankers on America, certainly not a kind industry. And remember, YC is not the first-person in this album, but more of a story-teller; he's playing a character.
The whole idea of keeping everything black-owned has been used by several cultures, including the Jews, Italians, and Koreans, as highlighted in the film Boyz N The Hood.
