Haiku

guitar tabs lyrics

Tally Hall

Album : Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum rock PlayStop

I did this tab because the other one is completely wrong. Im still trying to fix the
problems (mostly the chords in the chorus), and also figure out the picking in the
other than that, its correct. listen to the song to find out which chords are played on
octave, because that gets confusing. (pay attentions to the astricks ******)

good luck.

Em7
I have been trying
C D Em7
To write a haiku for you
C D
Some things I just cant do

Em7 C
Maybe youre beyond
D Em7
Ancient asian poetry
C D
Or maybe its just me

Em7
I have been trying
C D Em A
To get this haiku just right all night
Em A C
For you; alright Im through

Em7
Maybe this poem
C D Em7
Was lost in the sauce we spilled
C D
That never got refilled

Em7
Ive never thought much
C D Em7
Of formulaic verse anyway
C D
And rhymes are not my forte

Em7
I have been trying
C D Em A
To get this haiku just right all night
Em A C
For you; alright Im through

CHORUS:
F* C* F G C*
Im trying not to try too hard
F* F G C*
But youre hard to write down right
F* C* F G C*
So I pen these tried attempts
F* B C**
At haikus for you tonight
